TEMT6000 Ambient Light Sensor Module
The TEMT6000 Ambient Light Sensor Module can convert the visible light to Analog Voltage for measuring the intensity of light. Which is designed to detect the light spectrum that is visible to the human eye with a full range of 440nm to 800nm.
The sensor act as a NPN-Phototransistor i.e. increasing the light intensity on the base of the transistor increases the current flowing through the transistor collector/emitter.
This tiny PCB has a very simple schematic that uses the heart of the module that is TEMT6000 Ambient Light Sensor is series with a 10K resistor. Which form a voltage divider network and this causes increasing the light intensity also increase the voltage on the Signal Output towards Vcc.
