PCB Order Guidelines

We accept single and double layer PCB with unlimited vias, pads and components. The PCB will be printed on “Glass Fiber” board. Please note that vias on double layer PCBs that we make don’t have copper plating inside and thus do not provide any electrical connection between top and bottom layer. The customer is supposed to solder wires in the vias to make them conductive

PCB Design Characteristics and Limits:

Before sending a design file to us, please make sure that it follows the following characteristics. Otherwise we might not be able to make the PCB or make it incorrectly.

Maximum Size: 10.5 Inch/ 266 mm (length) and 7.5 Inch/ 190 mm (width)

Minimum Size: 1 Inch/ 25.4 mm (length) and 1 Inch/ 25.4 mm (width)

Shape: Only rectangular shape is accepter

Clearance: 30 th/ 0.76 mm minimum (pad-pad, pad-trace, trace-trace, trace-board edge)

Trace Thickness: 30 th/ 0.76 mm minimum

Pad: 70 th/ 1.77 mm minimum (via, hole for through-hole components)

Drill Hole: 30 th/ 0.76 mm minimum, 120 th/ 3.04 mm maximum (via, hole for through-hole components)

Drill Mark: must be same as drill hole

Others:

  • Design must have a board edge
  • No limit on the number of pads, vias and components

How to Place PCB Order?

  • Make sure you’re logged in to your TechshopBD account. Register if you don’t have one and then log in.
  • Select PCB layer (single layer or double layer) depending on your design
  • Choose whether or not you need green masking on your PCB
  • Enter PCB length and width (you can get these dimensions from your design software)
  • Choose number of PCBs
  • Upload your PCB design file. We accept file in .zip (with multiple PDF files inside for), .pdsprj (proteus file) and .brd (Eagle file). More info on the design file is stated below.
  • Click on the “Add to Cart” button.
  • You can order multiple PCBs in one order. To do that, follow the previous steps for each PCB.

Design File

  • If you’ve used Proteus or Eagle to design PCB, you can send us your original design file without any convertion (.pdsprj/ .brd)
  • If you’ve used any other software or simply don’t want to share your original design file with us, you can convert them to PDF. While converting, make sure that the scaling ratio is 100%.
  • In case you choose to send PDFs, you’ve to create multiple PDF files and send us a .zip file containing them. The PDF files must be on black and white. Here’s a sample for your understanding: PCB Order Guideline
  • As PDFs, the following files must be provided. Any file of the bottom layer must be flipped horizontally (mirror).
    • Top silk, bottom copper (required for single layer PCB)
    • Top silk, top copper, bottom copper (required for double layer PCB)
    • Bottom silk (optional for double layer PCB)
    • Bottom resist (required if you choose green masking for single layer PCB)
    • Top resist, bottom resist (required if you choose green masking for double layer PCB)

Modifying Design File:

When you send us a design file while ordering PCB, it gets stored on our website. You can change the design file (from My Account >My PCB Orders) as many times as you want before we call you for verification and start the printing process. You won’t be able to change/ modify the design file once your order status turns into “printing” or “shipped”.

Privacy and Security of Design File:

We DO NOT share your design file(s) with any 3rd party entity. As our website is secured with SSL technology, there’s no way your files can be accessed by anyone except us. You can be assured of the security of your design file(s).

Additional Notes:

  • We only print PCBs based on your design. We don’t make PCB designs ourselves for customers.
  • If you made any error in your design, we won’t edit the design to correct the error.
  • There’s no urgent delivery service. It’ll take a number of working days for us to print the PCB(s) after receiving order from you.
  • The total number of days to print your PCB(s) will vary based on the size, quantity and layer. We’ll inform you about the duration when we call you for verification of your order.
